Why do I need a Personal Account?

Creating a Personal Account gives you access to all of the services provided by this web site and by RegisterAmerica.net. Once registered, you can:

As a Participant

  • Enroll in an event (or multiple events)
  • Complete post-event evaluations online
  • Receive CEs and certificates online
  • Will get access to prime essay

As a Site Administrator

  • Register a new downlink site (or multiple sites)
  • Enroll those sites in an event (or multiple events)
  • Track participants attending your sites

As an Event Coordinator

  • Host your own event through RegisterAmerica.net

How can I find out if I already have an account?

If you think you may already have an account with RegisterAmerica.net, call (850) 784-6002, ext. 16 and speak with a RegisterAmerica.net representative.

Who has access to my Personal Account information?

Site Administrators and Event Coordinators have access to your name and contact information for the events you are enrolled in. Complete information is only available to certain RegisterAmerica.net employees and database administrators. Your personal information, such as e-mail address and mailing address, is never sold or distributed and is collected for the sole purpose of assisting you in this event registration process.

Administering a Downlink Site

How do I register/enroll a site to downlink this event?

Registering (or enrolling) a downlink site is simple. The process in a nutshell:

  1. Create a Personal Account. This is information about YOU.
  2. Add a new site record to your account. This is information about YOUR SITE.
  3. Enroll the new site in an event.

Yes. If you created an account with us as a downlink site administrator or a participant, your account is still valid and you should use it when registering for new events.

If you are registering to attend an event (or administer a downlink site) in the future (at this site or another) and see this logo, you can use your RegisterAmerica.net account and enroll quick and easily.

What are the roles and responsibilities of a Site Administrator?

Site Administrators are individuals who prepare and man the site for a satellite broadcast. They serve in the same basic role as a facilitator of a meeting or training session. Their responsibilities include the following:

  • Visit / prepare the site
  • Make preparations to receive the program signal
  • Have your site certified (Video Conferencing), if necessary
  • Monitor your site during participant registration period
  • Obtain the program materials and make copies, as necessary
  • Welcome and familiarize the participants with general site information
  • Distribute the participant materials
  • Facilitate/encourage group discussion, as instructed during the broadcast
  • Assist participants in calling/faxing/e-mailing in questions, if available
  • Distribute the evaluation/examination questions and clarify the process for obtaining Continuing Education, if required
  • Thank participants
  • Clean up. Straighten up the room and remove any signs that you posted in the building

Registering to Attend

How do I register to attend this event?

  1. Search for a viewing site (called a downlink site).
  2. Select a site to attend.
  3. Create a Personal Account, if you don't have one.
  4. Enroll.

I have set up an account. How do I enroll?

Log in to your account and click the "Enroll in an event" link in the box labeled "Events I am attending." From there you will search the available downlink sites, choose a site, and enroll. Since some events require different data from registrants, you may be asked some additional questions during the enrollment process.

How can I switch to a different site?

Follow these steps to switch your enrollment to a different downlink site:

  1. Log in to your Personal Account.
  2. Click the "Participants" Button in the Navigation bar or click the "Enroll in an Event."
  3. Click the "Begin Search>>" button.
  4. Choose your search method and locate the site you wish to switch to.
  5. Once you have located a site, proceed to register for that site using the buttons or links provided. The system will display a message stating that you are already registered (if you are already registered).
  6. Click the "Switch my enrollment to this site" link.
  7. You are now switched!

This procedure is valid for participants who have previously registered to view the broadcast via Webcast and wish to switch to a live downlink site.

How can I switch to view via Webcast?

Follow these steps to switch your enrollment to view the broadcast via webcast:

  1. Log in to your Personal Account.
  2. Click the "Participants" Button in the Navigation bar or click the "Enroll in an Event" link.
  3. Click the link in the section titled "View via Internet Video Streaming at your Desktop ."
  4. Choose the broadcast to view and click the "Enroll" button. The system will display a message stating that you are already registered (if you are already registered).
  5. Click the "View Broadcast via Webcast" link.
  6. You are now switched


I attended this event last year. Don't I already have an account?
